What it feels like
Off-road, Arrow dominates. It soaks ruts, chatter, and broken forest service roads.
On the highway it can feel a little soft because the progressive pack fits a range of loaded weights. Click it up for interstate and crosswind. Leave it in the dirt setting and the van floats.

Tabbed Locking Washer
The Difference
A mechanical anti-rotation washer physically locks the strut top in place after torque.
The Benefit
On washboard roads, micro-rotation can slowly reduce clamp load, leading to noise and accelerated wear.

Designed to stay tight under sustained vibration, reducing "clunks" and long-term strut wear.
Replacement Leaf Springs
The Difference
Owl uses Deaver progressive packs sized to a weight window, not a single axle number.
The Benefit
A full replacement resets spring rate, ride height, and load capacity. A leaf pack that fits a range of weights gives owners a little flexibility to adjust their travel weight with softer leaves.
Double-Shear Brackets
The Difference
Double-shear rear shock brackets capture the shock from both sides instead of relying on a single-bolt mount.
The Benefit
A single bolt mount backs out over time. It lets the shock side load, which damages the shock, the seal, or the frame around it.

A straighter load path means a longer lasting shock and a steadier ride.
Thermal Management
The Difference
When the pack is carrying the load, the Falcon dampers stay in their working range instead of cooking themselves.

Our Recommendation
Arrow Trail Pro
What is it: It gives maximum clearance with an additional lift block to reduce "bottoming out" and maximum articulation. A total of 4" suspension lift plus a tire increase can see 6" overall.
Feels like: Although a little soft on the highway, it shines off road. It floats over bumps in the road and off-road and is stable on the highway.
Price: $8,995 + cost of installation (as of Sept 2026)
Worth it? To be honest, it's phenomenal. The internal valving improvement makes it the best version of the Falcon adjustable suspension we've tested.
Price vs value, it ranks high on our list for premium suspension options.
Budget Conscious Option
Don't skip the leaf springs. They support the weight of the van and extend the life of your shocks. Shocks alone won't support the weight and will fail early.
Go with the light/heavy springs and add the adjustable shocks with shear brackets.

Worth it? Adjustability comes with a price tag. If you'll use it, the ability to change the ride feel in mixed terrain can be a big benefit.
