Sprinter & Transit Recovery Kit
Taking a 9,000 to 11,000-pound Sprinter or Transit van off-grid demands recovery gear engineered specifically for that load. Standard off-road kits lack the safety margins required for heavy vans.
The foundation of this system is the 1-inch by 20-foot Kinetic Recovery Rope. Traditional static straps transfer violent shock loads directly to a van's chassis. This kinetic rope stretches under tension, storing and releasing energy to deliver a smooth, progressive pull out of deep sand or mud without damaging your vehicle. It provides a massive 33,500-pound minimum breaking strength.
Heavy metal D-rings can become dangerous projectiles during a recovery failure. We eliminated that risk by including four 7/16-inch ASR Soft Shackles. Woven from advanced synthetic line, each shackle boasts a 47,000-pound minimum breaking strength. They are exceptionally safe, float in water, and completely protect your vehicle's paint and finish.
For complex winching extractions, the kit provides a 7/16-inch by 75-foot Winch Line with a heavy-duty eye rated at 21,000 pounds, alongside a 30-foot extension rated at 17,500 pounds.
Synthetic winch line matches the strength of steel without the lethal snap-back effect, dropping dead to the ground if a line parts.
We complete the system with two 3-inch by 10-foot Bridle/Tree Savers rated at 46,500 pounds to safely rig around trail anchors. A 55,000-pound rated 2-inch Hitch Recovery Point provides a rock-solid rear connection. Everything packs away cleanly into the included large black modular storage bag.
