The idea

Skip Interstate 5.

We're leading a 10 van convoy from the shop in Woodinville through the volcanic plateaus of Central Oregon, the basins of Western Nevada, over the Sierra crest, and into the Southern California desert.

We'll arrive at Ocotillo on the Rocks as VIP guests of Agile Off Road on Oct 21.

Sat, Oct 17

Cascades to the volcanic pines

10:00 AM departure from the shop. Snoqualmie Pass, US 97 south, into the ponderosa and pumice flats of south central Oregon. Dispersed pine clearing for the night.

Sun, Oct 18

High desert horizons

Midday rally point in Klamath Falls for fuel and lunch, then into the Great Basin. Pines give way to sagebrush and Sierra skyline.

Mon, Oct 19

Yosemite Breather

Short driving morning, then you're on your own to enjoy the area. Restock, prep meals, enjoy a day pass at Rush Creek Spa. No group itinerary this afternoon.

Tue, Oct 20

High crest to desert country

Over the Sierra, through the Mono Basin, a reset in Bishop, then down into desert country.

Wed, Oct 21

Into the event

Easy morning south, arriving at the event around 2:00 PM as Agile VIPs.

Acknowledgment of risk

By registering for the Pines to Palms Rally, I acknowledge and agree:

Self sufficiency. This is an overland convoy across remote highways, mountain passes, and dispersed public land. My vehicle is in sound mechanical condition, registered, insured, and equipped for off grid travel.
I drive my own van. I'm solely responsible for safe operation, traffic laws, navigation, fuel, and my property. Wolf Pack Overland, its founders, and event partners are not common carriers and aren't liable for mechanical failure, damage, towing, fines, or park fees.
Leave No Trace. I will pack out trash, manage waste in a self contained system, and respect fire restrictions.
Assumption of risk. I know backcountry travel includes weather swings, road hazards, high elevation, and slow medical response. I voluntarily participate and release Wolf Pack Overland, Agile Off Road, Ocotillo on the Rocks, and their owners, employees, and affiliates from liability for injury or loss arising from my participation.
