Every suspension package we offer includes front auxiliary shocks.

FOX 2.0: featured with Elite and included in Pro. These conventional dampers work alongside the main front struts. More damping does not automatically mean a softer ride.

FOX 2.0 external bypass: adds external bypass circuits and tuning for $3,330.10 more than conventional FOX 2.0 auxiliaries on either kit. We don’t recommend that extra spend for most owners. Have a specific need before paying for it.

Elite with external-bypass auxiliaries still has Elite main dampers. Factory Race retains its main suspension hardware with either front auxiliary shock choice.

Every Factory Race configuration shown here has FOX front assemblies. Choosing FOX 2.0 auxiliaries or external-bypass auxiliaries does not change those main struts.

First, identify the cause. Springs support weight. Dampers control motion. Tire pressures, worn parts, alignment and travel clearance also affect ride quality.

We recommend spending more when we can explain what the extra hardware will do for your van. A higher price or more adjusters is not a diagnosis.

Before final spring selection, we need loaded axle weights with your normal travel load aboard. Agile offers 4,200, 4,200 with 1-inch lift, 4,700, 5,400 and 6,000 lb rear-axle-weight options. The labels are not extra payload capacity. Choosing the heaviest spring is not an upgrade.

No. It describes nominal damper size. Ride height depends on springs, load and setup. A more expensive shock family does not automatically lift the van higher.

We check ride height, clearance and alignment needs. When FOX coilover preload needs adjustment, the coilover must be removed and a spring compressor used according to the applicable instructions. It is not a quick trail-side height adjustment.

This guide covers Sprinter 2500 4WD/AWD, with FOX front-strut kits listed for 2015+ applications. Confirm the Mercedes-Benz chassis year, drivetrain, wheels, tires and existing modifications. The RV model year alone is not enough.

Tell us about Mercedes-Benz factory rear air conditioning. Agile identifies interference with its auxiliary shock/mount kit. Confirm fitment before ordering. A 3500 or 2WD van needs its own application review.

Budget for inspection and manufacturer-specified service. More dampers and adjusters mean more parts to maintain. Suspension upgrades do not increase vehicle weight ratings.

WPO installation labor carries a lifetime transferable warranty. WPO-installed suspension includes a free 500-mile checkup. Parts have separate manufacturer warranty terms. DIY purchases do not include installation-labor coverage.

Main-damper adjustment and internal bypass have been checked against FOX’s component specifications.
