A solution for your budget

Build the suspension your van needs

Agile suspensions are highly customizable. Wolf Pack Overland is happy to build a solution around your van, your driving, and your budget.

Most builds start with the rear leaf springs chosen to support the vehicle’s loaded weight. Every van is different. Shocks can help control movement, but they’re rarely the complete answer on their own.

What do you want to improve?

Where should we send your quote?

3500 / STRAIGHT ANSWERS

The details for your 3500.

Why is Premium your most recommended 3500 package?

Premium combines load-matched rear leaf springs, Bilstein B6 front struts with Agile coil assist, FOX 2.0 front auxiliary shocks and FOX 2.5 commercial-series rear shocks. It is our starting point for owners who want a complete, fixed-damping setup for highway travel, access roads and washboard.

Elite adds adjustable main dampers, subject to the front-fitment review below. Factory Race adds internal bypass. The external-bypass front auxiliaries add another level of travel-zone tuning. We recommend the extra hardware when your driving gives you a reason to use it.

What should a 3500XD owner know about Elite front-strut fitment?

Agile lists Performance Elite front struts in this kit, while FOX’s installation manual excludes Performance Elite front struts on 3500XD dual-rear-wheel models and specifies Factory Race front struts. Add this option to your quote so we can confirm the correct front assembly and final price before you order.

Do I need axle weights before requesting a quote?

No. Tell us what is in the driveway and what you want to improve. Before final spring selection, we need loaded front and rear axle weights with your normal passengers, water, fuel and gear aboard.

Agile lists 5,500, 6,000, 6,500 and 7,500 lb rear-axle-weight options for these 3500 kits. These labels describe spring selection; they are not additional payload capacity. Suspension changes do not raise GVWR or axle ratings.

Do dual rear wheels or a super-single conversion change the selection?

Yes. Tell us about dual rear wheels or a super-single conversion, wheel width and offset, tire size and any spacers already fitted. We check front-strut and tire clearance and the required wheel hardware for that exact setup. A kit name alone does not confirm clearance.

Which front auxiliary shocks should I choose?

Premium includes conventional FOX 2.0 auxiliaries. Our featured Elite configuration also uses conventional FOX 2.0 auxiliaries. Our featured Factory Race configuration pairs internal-bypass main dampers with external-bypass front auxiliaries.

Elite without auxiliaries starts at $7,308.83; Factory Race without auxiliaries starts at $9,508.86. Conventional auxiliaries add $919.89. External bypass adds $3,330.10 over conventional auxiliaries in either family. We do not recommend that extra spend without a clear use case.

Tell us if the van has Mercedes-Benz factory rear air conditioning. Agile identifies an interference issue with its auxiliary shock/mount kit; fitment must be checked before ordering.

Do Wolf Pack installations use lift blocks?

We do not use lift blocks in our suspension installations. We build the installed solution around the correct rear leaf springs for the van’s load. Agile’s boxed kit descriptions can include lift-block hardware; a DIY parts package and our installed specification may differ. We will spell out the components in your quote.

Does “2.5” mean 2.5 inches of lift?

No. It describes nominal damper size. Ride height depends on the springs, load and setup. We check clearance, alignment and travel. Shock upgrades alone do not correct an overloaded vehicle or increase its rated capacity.

Can I buy the parts and install them myself?

Yes. Choose the kit’s product page and confirm fitment before ordering. Displayed pricing covers parts only. Installation, freight and applicable taxes are additional. After purchase, Wolf Pack Overland will send a separate invoice for freight and any applicable taxes not already collected at checkout.

For installation with us, use Add to quote or the custom quote form. We will confirm the parts, spring selection, installed estimate and scheduling.

What warranty and follow-up come with installation?

Wolf Pack Overland installation labor carries a lifetime transferable warranty covering our installation work. WPO-installed suspension includes a free 500-mile checkup. Parts follow separate manufacturer warranty terms. DIY parts purchases do not include installation-labor coverage.

Which 3500 vans is this page for?

Start here for a Sprinter-based Winnebago EKKO, Tiffin Open Trail, or custom Sprinter 3500 build. These listings are for 4WD/AWD applications; FOX front-strut kits are listed for 2015+ chassis. We confirm the Mercedes-Benz chassis year, drivetrain, rear-wheel configuration and existing modifications before selecting parts. A Transit-based EKKO requires a different suspension.

Specifications and sources

Hardware and listed parts prices checked October 15, 2026. Final configuration depends on your van. Elite front-strut fitment remains subject to confirmation because the Agile kit listing and FOX installation manual differ for 3500XD dual-rear-wheel models.
